i'm working on not so much a piece at this point as an engine to be used in
various pieces: http://vispo.com/temp/Google2.htm

the idea is to create an engine that has quite a variety of 'image display
schema' whereby google images are the visual material for interactive audio
works. it's pretty early though: there's just one 'image display scheme' at
this point: one after another; simplest possible. am using director to
create it, which is pretty good for image processing/compositing/masking.

i have since heard that MAX has a google image of some sort available for
it. i'll probably make the above engine for director available at some
point.
