The first dorkbot-budapest meeting will take place on Thursday, November
10th at 6pm at Dinamo (IX. Tuzolto u. 22.)
Featuring:
+ Ferenc Sebo: The war of sexes - An experimental computer game
TWOS is an experimental computer game, being the result of a 3 year long
development by Ferenc Sebo and Andor Toth, with the goal of getting as
many of the contemporary holy grails in game development as possible.
These include legitimating videogames as an artform, thought-provoking
theme, greater emotional involvement, female participation,
hardware-independent visuality and compatibility with mobile gear.

+ Adam Somlai-Fischer: Low-tech sensors and actuators
We have developed a suite of low-tech sensors and actuators using
electronic children's toys and gadgets that can be hacked for their
constituent parts. In this way, artists and architects can quickly and
cheaply develop interactive spaces and objects. The outcome of the
project in an instruction manual of sorts, a manifesto for low-tech, a
conceptual framework for complex interactive systems.
Low-tech sensors and actuators is a collaboration between Usman Haque
(http://www.haque.co.uk) and Adam Somlai-Fischer (http://www.aether.hu)
and was commissioned by the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology
(http://www.fact.co.uk).
+ Adam Lendvai: Seek yourself!
Adam Lendvai examines groups organised by attitudes towards diverse
subjects in his Seek yourself! project. The online project uses the
internet to create a playground with the concepts of anonymous search
for others, identity, uniqueness and belonging to the community.
