Scribble is a piece by Golan Levin, an experiment with gestural input to
create sound and image in one interface. As Joost correctly points out
it was a precursor to his AVES performance, which incorporated Scribble
as one of the interfaces used.
Golan recently did a table installation at Ars Electronica called Scrapple:
