Wow, thanks for all the suggestions everyone. The work
that I was referring to was:

Exonemo bring a punk attitude to digital art. Their
raw materials are basic ? commonplace objects or
software ? and yet they use these basic tools to make
a whole range of (visual or audio) noise. Their
project for FACT embarks on a new direction, inviting
the visitor to make their own digital drawings which
are projected in the gallery, in a new interactive
web-based installation.
Their new work Shikakunomukou (On the Other Side of
Vision), presented at FACT, is the first work in which
images and sounds are generated in real time by the
user. By inviting visitors to make the final work by
drawing in the dark, exonemo provoke the user into
considering their own sensory perception and
creativity in relation to others.
