[eu-gene] Generative Art "Book" website progress - and a question for all

Hi everyone. Work is progressing on the book-like foundations of
generative art website I posted about a while back. I've decided
that in its first release it will be bibliography heavy...that way
each topic will have at least a start, and I can incrementally add my
writing to it over time. I hope to include not only books, but other
online resources, and papers (online or not) in the bibliography.

I e-mailed Adrian Ward of generative.net...sponsors of this list. My
question for him was whether it would be OK and appropriate to use
this list as the de facto "official" announcements list for my "book"
website. I figured there might be some synergy there and helpful to
both my site and this list.

Adrian was supportive but rightly pointed out that this list is
unmoderated and so I should make this post and see if there are any
objections out there.

Let me point out that (1) I'll just post, at most, once a week saying
something like "Hey, I just finished the section on Shape Grammars"
or the like and (2) I'm going to build into the bibliographic
references links to Amazon.com that may generate a few pennies to
help offset my server-provider costs.

best wishes to all, Phil

p.s. As before, feel free to email me with your suggestions for this
future online resource...
