Hi,

I've been checking quite regulary the links on the generative.net site, but
didn't know about the mailing list. I was discussing with a friend of mine
about a project I had made and how I would appreciate feedback on it, so he
pointed me out here.
After seeing one day of activity on the mailing list, I think this is the right
place to post this and to create a bit of discussion on it.

Well, I would like to present you Caligraft. It's a project that tries to
discover and explore the field of what I would like to call Computational
Calligraphies, which is very tightly related to generative art. In the Info
section of the project website there is much more information about the
motivation and intent of Caligraft.

In the Exhibition section you can also find the works in the form of Images &
Videos (recommended for most users), downloadable Applications (requires good
CPU, OpenGL graphics card and Java RE 1.4.2) or finally as a OpenGL web applet
(which requires the same things as the applications, but is very experimental
and MIGHT CRASH YOUR BROWSER). You can also find the Processing sourcecode and
a link to the library it uses.

I don't want to bother anymore those who don't want to know about it. So here
is the link to the project website:
http://www.caligraft.com

I would really appreciate that any comments, criticism and feedback could create
a little bit of discussion. Generative art is still very new to me and all you
could apport would help a lot.

Thank you
ricard
